This is an entry level support post which will provide administrative support to the School Manager.
The School of Politics and International Relations (SPIRe)
SPIRe is the longest established and largest political science department in the country, managing big numbers of undergraduate and postgraduate students each year. Our academic staff are engaged in cutting-edge research on a wide variety of political issues, including ethno-political conflict, human rights, and Ireland’s role in the European Union, to name just a few. The School is also home to three research centres: the Centre for Development Studies, the Dublin European Institute, and the Institute for British-Irish Studies.
2010 Salary Scale: €24,583 – €37,343 per annum
2011 Salary Scale: €22,125 – €33,609 per annum*>
* Subject to all new entrants to public sector as of 01 January 2011
Appointment will be made on minimum of scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
