Richard Clarke is the director of Child Soldiers International, a London-based NGO campaigning to end the recruitment and use of children as soldiers worldwide. Previously he was a British foreign service officer, and had the real privilege of serving for two years as the Deputy Head of Mission in Dublin for 1996-8, spanning the run up to, and conclusion of the Good Friday Agreement.
