Our academic staff are engaged in cutting-edge research on a wide variety of political issues, including ethno-political conflict, human rights, and Ireland&#8217;s role in the European Union, to name just a few. The School is also home to three research centres: the Centre for Development Studies, the Dublin European Institute, and the Institute for British-Irish Studies.<\/p>\n<p><b>2010 Salary Scale: \u20ac24,583 &#8211; \u20ac37,343 per annum<\/p>\n<p>2011 Salary Scale: \u20ac22,125 &#8211; \u20ac33,609 per annum*<\/b>&gt;<br \/>\n<i>* Subject to all new entrants to public sector as of 01 January 2011<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Appointment will be made on minimum of scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines<\/p>\n<p><b>Closing Date: 23:30hrs GMT on 21 November 2013 <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified. <\/b> Any applications which are still in progress at the closing time of 11:30pm GMT on the specified closing date will be cancelled automatically by the system.
